Asher Yatzar insight
גָּלוּי וְיָדֽוּעַ לִפְנֵי כִסֵּא כְבוֹדֶֽךָ
"It is obvious and known in the presence of Your glorious throne."
Everything in the world is "obvious and known" before Hashem, so what is the significance of mentioning this specifically during Asher Yatzar?
The Vilna Gaon explains that one might think that Hashem is too great to involve himself in mundane actions that happen in one's life. Therefore, we remind ourselves that it doesn't happen without Hashem watching and directing, specifically during the beracha we make upon relieving ourselves, which is the most "non-spiritual" part of a person's life.
