Some refer to this iconic Torah giant as Ravnaftali, others simply as Rabbi Trupt, but most of us refer to him, based on his great work, hidushi HaGranat, the great G'oin Ravnaftali Trupt, as a Kharina Lev'racha.

He was a Rav in Rosh Hashiva, in the Chobetz Chayim's Yashiva in Radin for many years.

On the note to many, he was Ichavrussa with Rav Yuruchim Lev'vvvvvvvvvvvv in Kelm for ten years where they finished all of Talmud-Bavli and all of Shulchan-Aruch with a lot of the commentaries.

And Ravnaftali said Rav Yuruchim about his Chavrussa As someone who teaches us the Torah isn't something that's impartial, it's something that's personal.

And Ravnaftali was the king at delivering creative ideas in Torah to be able to understand clarity in the Gemara.

His internal fortitude and drive on malec in Hasmada until we're learning continues to inspire many individuals And in one iconic episode Rav Yuruchim describes how they were learning the Chavrussa in Kelm and they were up to a tough part of a sugya.

And Ravnaftali was someone who would acquire a plan in the specific Gemara, the topic, and follow that medieval commentator, that Rishon's plan, and weave it through the whole topic.

He was famous to be able to learn like the Rajba one way and to be able to take every step in the Ritva one way and the Ramam in another way.

And at one specific occasion, Rav Yuruchim said how, where the Rajba learned this step?

to which Ravnaftali responded the Rajba has to answer at this step, according to his reasoning, like this And if Yuruchim held back the safer Harajba not telling its Chavrussa what the answer, what the Rajba really said, and he said, looking inside, that's not what the Rajba said, and Ravnaftali went back to the drawing board and he came out with a different answer, then it has to be like this The Rajba needs to be learning like this step, according to what he and how he's learning the topic.

And Yuruchim said, no, that's not the answer.

And then the Hedushe HaGranat, the Radhenra Shashiva, came back with a third Mahalikha, third answer for how the Rajba must be learning.

He thought of all of the three answers because when a person buys into Torah learning and they have clarity and they're searching for truth and they understand each one of the Rishonim's path in the Soogyah and you get into their heads.
