00:00:03.585 --> 00:00:04.145
Good morning.

00:00:04.145 --> 00:00:09.695
It's great to be able to have a home studio now so we're able to wake up early in the morning.

00:00:09.695 --> 00:00:16.885
We don't want to talk too loud to wake up the sleeping people in the home, but a good morning to you.

00:00:16.885 --> 00:00:19.199
Welcome into the Motivation Congregation.

00:00:19.199 --> 00:00:25.954
And I'd like to pose the question of what are your notes that you took home from the Hanukkah Expo?

00:00:25.954 --> 00:00:31.850
You went through a spiritual high, a holiday, and it had many lessons.

00:00:31.850 --> 00:00:39.554
It was preaching, but what was the one most fundamental lesson that you took to heart to carry you through this winter?

00:00:39.554 --> 00:00:51.935
And before I tell you mine, or at least one very crucial lesson that we should learn from Hanukkah, I'd like to tell you about a great Torah sage whose name was Rabnoach Weinberg.

00:00:51.935 --> 00:00:54.064
Surely you've heard of him.

00:00:54.064 --> 00:01:00.807
His legacy is Eish HaTorah Torah sage.

00:01:00.807 --> 00:01:21.329
His father, aslanomer Chassid, his mother a direct descendant of the Nesivos HaMishpat, so the perfect joining of Ahavas, yisrael and Torah and Yerushalayim all in one big nucleus of a person.

00:01:21.329 --> 00:01:47.290
He studied by Yeshivas Chai in Berlin, neri Yisrael, gatz Micha, and when he traveled in 1953 to Eretz, yisrael to ask the Chazanesh what should be done about the problem of so many Jews assimilating, going off the derech, not caring about their almighty father in heaven.

00:01:47.290 --> 00:01:53.944
He never reached the Chazanish because the Chazanish died while Rabnoach was en route.

00:01:53.944 --> 00:02:05.647
He never got the answer, but Rabnoach his legacy, what he chose to do about the matter with an absolutely astonishing success.

00:02:05.647 --> 00:02:06.337
He chose to do about the matter with an absolutely astonishing success.

00:02:06.337 --> 00:02:18.056
He chose, with the most over-bubbling, outpouring, infectious type of Avas Yisrael, to unite millions of Jewish people.

00:02:18.056 --> 00:02:29.269
His Avas Yisrael and Avas Hakirov and Avas Hashem was more contagious, if you've ever met him, they say, than a yawn at the office at 4 pm.

00:02:29.269 --> 00:02:32.866
Which is to say he was very contagious.

00:02:36.259 --> 00:02:38.649
And Rabnoach one of his most famous lines.

00:02:38.649 --> 00:02:40.664
He lived by this.

00:02:40.664 --> 00:02:58.086
It's quoted by many, this line Rabnoach would say that if one person in the world can kill six million, six million Jews, and one person can also save six million Jews.

00:02:58.086 --> 00:03:02.792
Reb Noach lived with this mindset of one person.

00:03:02.792 --> 00:03:15.210
The greatness of a yachid, the greatness of the ability of a yachid, the greatness of the ability of a Rabin B'yad Ma'atim is what Hanukkah tells us that it doesn't take much to change a lot, maybe even change the world.

00:03:15.210 --> 00:03:19.730
And that's what Rabinoach did and that's a lesson that I'd like to share with you.

00:03:20.099 --> 00:03:27.133
That Hanukkah continues to teach that Rabin B'yad'atim, utmeyim b'yatahorim.

00:03:27.133 --> 00:03:34.451
They may have more people, they may be great in numbers, they may have more strong men in artillery and machinery.

00:03:34.451 --> 00:03:46.542
We may be ma'atim, we may be 12 angry men or we may just be one, but noach matzach ein be'enei Hashem Noach.

00:03:46.542 --> 00:03:53.344
One person found favor in God's eyes, but noach Weinberg found favor in God's eyes.

00:03:53.344 --> 00:03:56.502
You find favor in God's eyes and you can change the world.

00:03:56.502 --> 00:04:02.544
Hanukkah taught us that it only takes one to tango.

00:04:02.544 --> 00:04:05.766
It only takes one to change the world.

00:04:05.766 --> 00:04:15.341
And you may be Ma'atim, but you can still change the world.

00:04:15.341 --> 00:04:28.391
You.
